TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By registering for a service with Excel Football you accept these Conditions as well as agree to our Terms (which constitute a legal agreement). In order to understand this agreement, we will outline some key definitions that Excel Football (or the “Service”) is a sports coaching service which is offered through our website www.excelfootball.co.uk.
Booking confirmation eligibility and further policies
-
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into any contractual agreement
-
Complete the registration process
-
Provide true, complete, and up to date contact information
121 / Small Group sessions
-
Only one invoice will be sent to one individual on behalf of everyone in an externally organised group booking. Excel Football will not invoice individuals within an externally organised group separately.
-
Group bookings that are organised by Excel Football internally e.g. invitational training or games, will be invoiced separately if a charge is required.
-
Where applicable, any additional venue cost will be added onto the sessional rate.
-
Once payment has been received, we can add additional players onto this session, but a new invoice will be sent out to you should this be necessary.
-
Payment of the session must be received 48 hours prior to the session date, unless an alternative agreement has been agreed between the client and 'Excel Football'.
Minikicks
-
Upon enquiry, each child will receive a FREE taster session. If they enjoy the session (and want to come back for more!) the following Direct Debits are in place and will be taken on the 1st day of that month.
-
Your monthly fee is based upon Excel Football supplying the opportunity for you to attend a minimum of 43 x 1 hour Minikicks sessions (inclusive of school holidays; exclusive of Bank Holidays and the month of December) within a calendar year. This amount is then divided by 12 to provide an average monthly subscription rate.
-
We understand there may be times where you make us aware of your wish to invite a family member or friend along for a few one-off sessions, without the desire to formally sign them up for monthly fees. Therefore, we will allow cash payment per session, for the rest of that month only. Should you wish to bring this individual along for the next month, you would need to join our Direct Debit plan unless stated otherwise.
Advanced Football Workshops
-
Once payment has been received, your place is then confirmed on the respective course dates.
Cancelling booking or termination of this agreement.
121 / Small Group sessions
-
You may contact us to cancel and refund, or rearrange your 121 / Group session at least 24 hours before the session date. Sessions cancelled or rearranged after this time will incur the full session charge.
-
Should an individual player want to cancel their place in a group booking 24-hours before the session date, the session price will revert to the new pricing according to the size of the new remaining group. Any changes to the pricing will be invoiced out.
-
Please be aware that any cancelled or rearranged session may still incur venue charges, as per the terms and conditions of the venue. The venues terms and conditions will be attached when you book your session.
Minikicks
-
Regarding our Minikicks sessions, the customer can stop attending the programme whenever they wish, however a refund will not be issued unless the company has suspended our service to you, or your payment plan has ended. A refund will be issued for any remaining sessions if applicable.
-
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for periods of short term absence up to 2 sessions, due to the hiring of the venue and staffing.
-
We will however offer refunds in the unlikely event that we have to cancel a session that cannot be re-scheduled. This is solely due to the fact we have limited capacity, and paying a Direct Debit holds your child’s place on our programme.
-
If you wish to leave and there isn’t anything we can do to keep you, please give us two weeks notice and we will arrange to cancel your Direct Debit in due course.
Advanced Football Workshops
-
You may contact us to cancel and refund at least 24 hours before the session date. Sessions cancelled or rearranged after this time will incur the full session charge.
-
Should we need to cancel the session, you will be offered a full refund, payable to the account from which the original payment was made from.
On the day of the session
-
At least 1 Parent / guardian / designated adult must be present throughout the entirety of the session for anyone under the age of 18 within our 1-2-1 or private group sessions.
-
Parents are not to leave the child at our Minikicks / AFW sessions unless they have completed our Emergency Contact form.
-
Any player medication needs must be provided and administered by the parent / guardian / designated adult, such as an asthma pump etc, and MUST be present at the session. The coach must also be made aware of where this is placed.
-
I understand and accept that whilst all reasonable care will be taken, neither "Excel Football", nor any personnel authorised by it, or facility at which the session is held, will be held responsible for any loss or injury suffered by, or to, the applicant how so ever caused.
Registers for Under 18
Our services operate a child safeguarding policy as set out:
-
All centres will operate a sign in and sign out policy to ensure child welfare
-
No child will be able to leave the premises unless their parent/legal guardian is present
-
Excel Football must be notified if a different person is collecting their child
-
Information on parent/legal guardian must be received before their first session
Late Collection for Under 18
In the event of a child not being collected on time, Excel Football must be notified in advance of the lateness. If notified and agreed with the coaches and present staff, no fee will be charged. If Excel Football receive no notification of late collection then a late fee will be charged, per child, if they are not collected within their booked hours or prior to the service closing. The late fees are £10 for lateness of between 15-30 minutes and thereafter £1.00 per minute. The late fee covers the cost of staff overtime to remain with the child. If late collection is for the first time, then the parent or guardian will be issued with a warning. The second late incident will incur a fine and the parent/legal guardian will be advised of this on collection of the child.

Excel Football may reserve the right (in very rare serious cases) to ask parents/legal guardians to remove children from its services. In doing so, Excel Football also has the right to terminate any current bookings and refuse future bookings. In this extreme case, no refund will be made for any remaining sessions or bookings.
Safeguarding
All Excel Football staff (including volunteers) hold enhanced DBS checks and references. All coaches & volunteers agree to our safeguarding policy. Excel Football staff have a duty of care to act if they suspect a child in their care may be suffering from abuse. Any disclosure of child abuse or neglect will be fully investigated and reported to our designated safeguarding officer.
